Weddings at Hawthbush are a relaxed and magical affair
We only do a handful of weddings each year and only one wedding each week so there is a relaxed and special pace. We dress the barn for you with bunting and festoons but if you want to add your own touches thats fine and you can come on Friday and set up in a relaxed environment. You have exclusive use of the venue for the whole of Saturday until midnight and then on Sunday you can re-group for a survivors brunch.
Woodland blessing space and licensed barn
Our rustic wonky barn is licensed for you to have your legal ceremony here on the farm and if you want you can split your service between our outdoor woodland clearing for a blessing under an oak tree and indoor witnessed signing. Your guests can relax outside under our stunning stretch tent and enjoy a glass from our onsite brewery (see gunbrewery.co.uk) and selected local vineyards.
Locally sourced food, drink and live music
After the service the barn will seat up to 150 guests for your wedding breakfast. We have a beautiful stretch tent with straw bales a huge outdoor iron firepit which we keep lit for you and a great soundsystem which you can plug into or bring your own live music which can play on until midnight.
Make the fun last, stay with us for the weekend
To make your weekend even more special there is a collection of beautifully converted farm cottages available on the farm (see hawthbushfarm.co.uk for details) which you can take for the weekend. You can also hire our shepherds hut accommodation and campsite for your own tents or get a bell tent supplier to set you up a glamping village! The huts and camping can sleep up to 28 and the farm cottages can sleep a further 13. There are a number of local holiday cottages and hotels that we can recommend for your guests.
